1986 or later 32' Marinette Express (No Bridge)

I am still looking to buy a mid to late 1980's 32' Marinette Express with no bridge, seems like this model is very rare. No luck so far ,appreciate any help or feedback.

Wanted mid 80's 32' Marinette express or fisherman

WOW!! I have been looking for a 32' express or fisherman for over a month now and have not found one even to look at. I am somewhat at a disadvantage being located in Erie Pa 4 hours away from the West end where many Marinette's are, 2 were sold as I made the call to get more information. Now that t...

Interior cabin space

I am looking to buy a 32' express (no bridge) or a 32' fisherman vintage 1980's. Is the cabin space the same in both models. I like the U-shaped dinette and the couch on the starboard side. Both models in the mid to late 1980's are difficult to find but the search continues.

Re: Source for 5/8" starboard marine anti slip

Thanks for the replies, We thought about aluminum but only if we could buy the complete and insulated deck that was offered until recently by Marinette, I understand health issues have made this not available. We are searching for 5/8" starboard, I try to keep any restoration as original as pos...

Shade2u2
Thanks for the information,
I did a little research on PVC and it seems it doesn't hold up well in direct sunlight, also concerned about it's strength especially in 1/2" thickness.
I don't plan to cover the aft deck with anything so it will be exposed to the outside.

Source for 5/8" starboard marine anti slip

I am replacing the aft deck on my sons 32 1988 Marinette sedan. I don't want to route 3/4" starboard to fit under the sliding doors.
I cannot seem to find white A/S 5/8" (.6250) thick starboard anywhere.
Any information on where I can buy this product will be appreciated.

GGB muffler inserts

The 318's on my 1988 28" M express seem to be getting louder under the hardtop. I thought about replacing the veritone mufflers but looks way to difficult to access them, probably lifting the deck to do the job right. I found these as an alternative, GGB Inserts, they are attached SS rings that...

318 spark plug wire replacement

My valve covers have been leaking oil for a long time, previous owner bandaged the problem with diapers in the bilge. The spark plug wires are routed between the valve covers and exhaust manifolds( Not center dump but straight style). It is difficult to remove valve covers with the spark plug wires ...

Re: Windlass replacement

I also have a Lewmar pro fish 700 with chain, rope and Delta deepset anchor on my 28' Marinette express. I anchor on Lake Erie , sometimes in 60-70' of water, holds great.

Re: Hull design

Marinette made many hull changes 1976-1977, the 32 went from a 11 1/2' beam to a 12' beam, around the same time the 28'er went from a 10 1/2' beam to 11'. Also the bows on most models got a flair which directed spray outward away from the hull, before that the spray rides up and on the hull. Many bo...
