Thanks...

Old gas

I have used stable on the gas in my boat twice but it only last so long so im going to siphon out the gas BEFORE it gets bad. I did it once before by taking the sending units out for access. I unhooked the batteries and kept everything open while doing it. The boat was in the water that time. Now th...

Re: Kicker motor

I wonder what the performance with a couple 35 horsepower outboards that were slightly over propped would give you if the V8 motors and props were removed. Certainly would be a lot lighter..... Just thinking/wondering at this point....never gonna happen to my boat in reality.....ive got 2 good motor...

Kicker motor

Just wondering whats involved and how practical it is to possibly install a kicker motor on the swim platform. If a big enough motor would fit would it be good for cruising longer distances saving fuel and wear on the V8 motors? If it could get up to 6 to 8 knots or so running at low enough rpm that...

Re: raw water sea strainer replacement

Thanks Bill, those look nice and I would go with that if I didn't find the new old stock bronz ones. Hopefully they will be solid and reliable and should fit rite in the same space and same hose. I'm gonna replace the intake hose while I'm doing it. They look like a newer version of the stock units....
