I use a Garmin 640 it's small cheap and portable, it can be used on the water or on the road .There really isn't any learning curve to use it and it gets me to the markers or any other spot each and every time. Harry

More than likely different resistance in the port and starboard supply lines resulted in the one side being favored. Now you have to find out why. There"s been lots of posts on here about cleaning the tanks and anti-siphon valves and servicing the water separators.

My two new rebuilds are set up per the barr instructions, leaving the tubes out and both run nice and cool.

From the picture it shows you have selected to fuel any engine from any tank.I run mine with the middle valve closed so as to run fuel from port tank to port engine and starboard to starboard only

a good upgarde for the ignition is to convert it to a GM hei by dumping the ballast and adding a GM lx301 module and a good 12 volt coil keeping the chrysler electronic distribtor

Hi Gary I 've had my boat docked on the gulf north of Tampa since 2011 and no problems.We rinse it off after use including the inside running gear. You have to keep up on the zincs and do the bottom about every 18 monts, I use trilux 33. You should also come up with a engine fresh water flush system...

Hi Carl your ladder has been modified. I modified mine in a similar way but I used stainless chain and a starboard tread . The chain is small enough to fit into the down tubes of the ladder secured by the though bolts, the ends of the tread are notched just enough to accept the chain and stay aligne...

There is no such thing as a reverse rotation distribtor, it's only the collar thats on it that holds down the distribtor drive gear that makes it different. The distribtor drive gear which also drives the oil pump is different and must be for a reverse rotation motor only as the cam must be too. Thi...

The gear that drives the distribtor and the oil pump is different and only a reverse rotation one will work for a reverse rotation motor.
