Re: Marinette saves garage.

I love the boat but it's probably just not worth it to fix it, although I will be buying back from insurance. The prop, rudder, and probably the shaft are bent from being pushed down into the dirt, canvas and eisenglass are all shot also. I can buy a pretty nice replacement for what I'm getting from...

Potential part out 28 express

I am potentially going to part out my 28 express. A tree fell on it and it is more work than I can do to bring her back. Strong running 318 And velvet drive trans. Cabin interior and helm seats are in good condition. It's easiest for me to text pictures to interested parties. PM me or call/text at 6...

I'm sure my wife would love that.... think I could pass it off as a play house for our son?
My pics are too large to upload....not sure how to fix that?

Marinette saves garage.

We had a tornado come through on Tuesday night. My 28 express was on the trailer next to my garage and an ash tree 75+ feet tall fell on the boat, bad news is I'm sure the boat is a total loss, good news is the boat prevented my garage and all its contents from being crushed by the tree. I'm sure if...

Re: Chris craft 350q engine swap?

Went and checked these out friday, stored without distributors on either engine, no carb on one, rusty dipsticks, missing parts left and right. I passed. Altbough it was probably worth it, its more work than would be worth it to me.... i Went up to duluth and cruised lake superior for the weekend, 31...

Re: Chris craft 350q engine swap?

Jeff, that is exactly what I'll probably do, sell them whole or part out and keep a block and set of heads and build one up from there. Hopefully I can sell complete, and make some cash. My boat and trailer were paid for by doing this kind of odd stuff on the side, mostly parting out snowmobiles and...

Re: Chris craft 350q engine swap?

Thanks again for the reply. Not to question you, but to help me understand, if block and heads are standard sbc then why can't I use a different intake paired with a distributor to match the new intake? I'm going to look at these in the next few days so I'm just trying to gather all the info I can f...

Re: Chris craft 350q engine swap?

Thanks for the reply Eric. I don't really "need" an engine, mine runs great, but this guy is asking 300 for the pair, I would need to remove them but I've done that before, should be no sweat. My thought was to scoop them up, keep one engine and accessories and part or sell the other, then...
