Those numbers are solid for that rpm, I assume u weren't trying to push it? Those motors should make enough torque in that setup to run up to about 4800 rpm and that'll put you at about 35mph. Ray at victory is very good, not the cheapest but good. Gellner has a great reputation too but I've not had good experience with a couple of thier motors.

I hate to say this but unless u enjoy the project, the prices have come down so far that u may find better luck buying one that needs a bit less work. The motor, drive and genny will be likely junk.
