My brother had a fuel line made to fit from the carb to the fuel pump and just uses a 10 micron water separator filter in his 32' M. I am due for a filter replacement but wonder if the Chrysler filter is needed. I use...

Did you try Lakeland Auto and Marine in Port Clinton OH? I thought they have a modified version that works.

Re: LED Light Bulbs
I replaced the 1156 dome bulbs with 13 SMD LEDs from eBay 10 bulbs $10. A lot cheaper than any auto or big box stores. They are slightly dimmer than the incandescents but at night the light is softer and plentiful.

Re: Running light bulbs
We replaced the anchor and all interior dome lights with LEDs for power savings. Both were purchased on eBay in lots of 10 for less than the cost of one at any retail store. A little resea

Re: exhaust manifold
Go2marine.com or marinepartssource.com. I purchased manifolds from one or the other and even returned the brass tubes for full credit hassle free because the instructions said not use them for my configuration.

Re: Proper Carb Size for 318
Not sure. That's why I'm inquiring. I am the 4th owner. The 3rd didn't replace them and he bought the in central OH. Going through some old receipts there seemed to be a lot of overpriced repairs done that I would have questioned. When I found an exact Carter rebuilt replacement on EBay, I contacted...

Proper Carb Size for 318
My 318's have Carter AFB 750 CFM carbs. I was told this by the number and the primaries are almost as big as the secondaries. I rebuilt the starboard and the port kit is on order. Considered upgrading to Edlebrock but which one 1409 is 650 CFM or 1410 is 700 CFM. Will I gain or lose fuel economy goi...
