Re: What is special paint, what does special paint have

"dteamxpaint" appears to be a Chinese paint mfr. The writing style of the post is pretty consistent with Chinese attempts at English.

Re: Question to owners about your 32' FB Sedan

" My plan is to also install additional under deck fuel tanks probably totaling in the 75-100 gallon range."

For peace of mind that is good idea if you can find the room. Remember, though, there's a fuel penalty for trudging along with up to 800 extra pounds.

Re: Question to owners about your 32' FB Sedan

From what I've read, M's are considered relatively economical boats because they're lighter than the fiberglass equivalent. I cruised at between 2100 and 3000 rpm, as I recall, with a speed of 16-20 mph (depending on the bottom condition). I usually got about 1 mile per gal. With the boat trimmed pr...

Re: New Boater, Made offer on first Marinette

Your state should have an agency that deals with boat titles. You can probably locate it via google it (as in "Tennessee boat title"). Or start with a query to the Motor Vehicle people who can then direct you. It's not uniform state to state. I also think that in your agreement of sale you...

Re: Fresh water pump & accumulator

Not sure whether an accumulator will reduce pump running time. But it certainly ended awful knocking of the cold water line as it absorbed and smoothed out pressure changes.

Among the things I don't understand about site admin, Jeff, is how Forrest got to post a note asking for help if he weren't already an authorized site user?

Re: Calcium Chloride, Will it eat my M?

Follow on to bpboater's reply: Good thinking and analysis. The moisture things do work, but as bpboater points out, they only pull out a tiny fraction of the moisture inside the cabin over time. Like trying to propel the boat upstream with a paddle. So, while they "work", they don't resolv...

Re: Calcium Chloride, Will it eat my M?

By the way, those calcium chloride things do work so well they collect a lot of moisture - use a container that's large enough to accomodate it. Finally, one thing you can do to create air flow if you don't have a fan going is to crack a window or two but make sure they are covered well enough on th...
