I recall a similar occurrence with our 318's. When the engines were stumbling at idle, the trans started rattling as if the nuts, bolts and gears inside were loose. Smooth idle cured it

The plywood was held to the stringers using screws with washers about 1 inch in diameter. The screws are angled into the plywood from underneath and the washers catch the edge of the stringer. This system held tight for as long as it took the wood to rot at the rear drains, which I believe was a go...

As you all probably are now so tired of hearing me say, ask the mfr for tips. They've had a gazillion (that's a large number) of customer interactions and may have very good time-saving advice. if you follow through, I hope you will, please share your findings here.

I can speak for JP here...he does not refer to the impeller but rather the guts beyond that. Impellers are on the easy to replace scale of things.

My favorite response: what does the mfr say when you inquire? Post that advice here (I know, I know, it's easier to ask us to guess). Seriously, some of the tech depts I've encountered are very helpful

It's usually clamped to a cymbal stand near at hand. Liquids of dubious origin are poured into the top and periodically the drain is opened with the purified effuluent liquid going into a purloined cup. Fortifies one to get past some singers and trombone players
