Re: 37 sedan flybridge removal
I have my own trailer to move my 39 sedan, All loaded up and rolling with no bridge involved I was 13' 3" and my trailer is made like you would haul a fountain or 38 to 42' Baja so it is not as low slung as a good hydraulic hauler would be. http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1278/4344996/9163193/...

Re: Removing water from gas tank
The only thing I would add is if you can give the boat a lean in your favorable direction it will be easier to get the separated water corralled into the corner you have best access. I would also be considering a couple of inches of copper tube attached to the end of a semi flexible plastic line tha...

Re: Kicker motor
We have a Honda 60 on a MacGregor sailboat with no mast, which is 26' long and 7.5' wide and weighs about 3500 lbs loaded. At 3000 rpm it pushes the boat 8 mph. It has a 14 inch X 9 pitch prop. Max speed empty with 2 people is 20 mph, loaded max speed is 12 mph. At 8 mph it uses 1 gph at max loaded...

Re: Kicker motor
It have often wondered what a pair of Honda 50 FS outboards would do in a great loop setup with a huge center fuel tank for long range.

Re: No fuel
Do the hand pump test and then if it flows you are looking at what is likely a fuel pump. if not you will have to start taking things apart and searching for a clog. I assume there is no chance you got siphoned over the winter ?? Sure you got fuel ??

FYI, sounds like transmission grinding but was a dirty carb idle circuit
FYI on todays project. I had a carb start idling crappy on the port motor late last fall and I decided to wait to spring to go through it. About that time, and I noticed it again this spring my transmission on that same port motor started getting real noisy and sounding like it was asking for someth...

Re: Exhaust hose advice
Has anyone tried using an automotive exhaust pipe expander to loosen things up a bit. You cannot do this !! Exhaust hose has a hard spirially wound single strand hard wire and will be ruined if you do this. Just cut the old off and use some slippery soap and water to install the new. Edited: to cla...

Re: Water in my front compartment
Just like a cold can of beer, quite the appropriate comparison.
My bilge water flows forward in both compartments, bilge pumps at low point of both, do not have one at the transom stern for when on plane, thinking of installing one.
