Re: Restoring 37 double cabin

Star-brite Black Streak Remover is some great stuff. I use it every time I wash my deck.

Red5, you still out there? Sounds like you may have a little stray current around your boat somewhere. Looks like you are in freshwater and will need Mil-Spec A-24779(SH) aluminum alloy (also called KA90 or SEALLOY 150) http://www.boatzincs.com/marinette-bar.html . They also sell guppies/ hanging an...

Re: How do you make coffee at anchor?

Simple butane camp stove and a coffee press. Pregrind my own coffee before I leave the house. Doesn't get much better.... and the generator won't ruin your morning ambiance :D

Steven, Welcome to the forum. Forum etiquette says that you should start a new thread of your own. Hijacking someone else’s subject is a no-no. No harm, no foul. I think I did a few times myself long ago. Just helping you out. Welcome and good luck on your project. Can’t wait to see your restore. Ad...

Re: Air Conditioning

I have the Cruiseair/Marinaire AC/Heat stowaway set up. It does a great job in the hot humid summer here in the south. Anything less will be a waste of money. We stay overnight about 40 days a year on our boat so AC is a top priority. It looks like it would have a large price tag  $1700 plus ...
