The most successful way to remove cigarette stink from a car is by using an ozone generator (about 70 bucks on Amazon). Not sure if this would do the trick here, but for that little $$ it might be worth trying. To use it, crack a window and run a fan to circulate air about the boat as the ozone gene...

Easiest way is to test the wires with a meter. One wire should go to ground; the other should rad open (with the switch off).

The way these indicting timing lights work is that you dial in the max advance (around 26 degrees) then rev the engine to about 4 grand. The mark should then appear to be at the zero advance point. If not, the advance isn't advancing. Not unusual for the advance mechanism to stick in marine distribu...
