Re: wire size

No muddy waters here! Good advice. Running a grounding wire to the engine block is more than sufficient. Your engine is grounded to the battery directly or to the stringer. Re: wire size

#8 should be just fine if run is 4ft or less. Single wire go straight to positive on battery bank. Use a 100 AMP blade fuse which is preferred to a breaker. Locate as close as possible to the positive terminal. Here is a great guide: http://www.tuffstuffperformance.com/files/pdf/1-wire_alternator_in...

Re: Value question 32 express bridge

My 29 is for sale and a nice boat. I would like 15K if not I will donate it sometime in the future. No sense dumping on market and lowering the prices for the rest of our Big M owners.

All so sad... Cash talks and banks will not loan on these classic Yachts.

Re: Just bought my 1st "M" and need some help..

My gauge is a top tank read. I dumped the inaccurate wired one years ago. Never did trust it. But you do have to open the hatch to read it.No big deal but for some it would be.

Re: Carb Problem

This is an interesting problem. Make sure we all know what the cause was! Just a couple of thoughts... Where are you pressure gauges located? are they before the filter on the output side of the fuel line? If that is the case a clogged fuel filter would not cause a pressure drop. Actually it would c...
