Re: Exhaust manifold temp

How old are the exhaust manifolds? Had a similar problem and found mine to be not completely clogged but very restricted, rust, corrosion, etc. Pulled the end caps and the risers off, rodded the manifolds out, LOT'S of rust, reassembled. Engines ran cooler for a very short period of time then starte...

Re: Sunken 32`

Drained my tank Friday, pulled the "fuel" through the fuel lines in order to get to the lowest part of the tank. First three or four gallon's were definitely contaminated, guess that big aluminum tank does a lot of sweating. Have considered installing a header tank in hopes catching the wa...

Re: Proper Carb Size for 318

Educate me and the rest on difference in the Holley, Edlbrock and the Carter. Had my Carters rebuilt, at not what I precieve as cheap and of this writing I still question if it was money well spent. They seem to work fine, far better than before, but the question still lingers.

Re: Proper Carb Size for 318

Did have my Carter's rebuilt supposedly to a "better than new" standard, per the cost, and not much cheaper than new Edelbrocks, I've often wondered if buying new wasn't the way to go. As a matter of principal I always try to stay with original equipment.

Re: Engine Swap

Looked heavily into a 350 swap for the current 318's, in the end decided to stay with the 318's. Motor mounts, bell housings all the re positioning verses old out and new in was certainly the path of least resistance. Never been a Chrysler fan but after a lot of research found the 318 to be a well p...

Re: Steering Stuck

Have you looked into converting over to hydraulic steering, that's on my radar after the engines.

Re: picture of hull annodes.

Just received the zincs via US Mail last week, also purchased a set of Struts with bearings installed about a month ago. Seems the owners father is running the business and yes he the son is still alive. Reading between the lines I got the impression things are not to good with the son. The number I...

Re: picture of hull annodes.

Replacing my zincs this weekend, bought them directly from Marinette, they claim theirs are the only ones that are the true alloy, would love to hear from others on this. Mine had sat in a marina for a number of years because of owner health issues and although it ran well dormancy took its toll, in...
