Guess ours is under 40yrs of paint.

Hello, About to register our new to us Marinette 32 for the first time. Arkansas now requires a photo of the HIN. Can not find HIN. Maybe it is under 40 years of paint on transom? Just paid to repaint boat. Do not want to start ripping paint off. Where on hull should an HIN be on a 1978 Marinette 32...
