Good source for distributor caps and rotors

I feel like I've heard a few complaints that Sierra caps/rotors are not of the greatest quality. I just found a new marine cap/rotor set through my local Federated Auto Parts supplier. If you don't have one of these stores near you, look up Standard Auto Parts online. They can look up what you need ...

Re: Sea Hawk Bottom Paint REVIEW

I am using red but have considered going to black since it is so hard to keep the brighter colors looking good.

Also, all the red paints seem to fade to pink at the waterline which I'm not a huge fan of.

Sea Hawk Bottom Paint REVIEW

This is a positive review for Sea Hawk Mission Bay copper-free antifouling. A few seasons ago, I had the bottom of the hull blasted and I applied Interlux Interprotect 2000e epoxy primer . Used Interlux Micron CF as the antifouling at that time. The primer has held up great. The Micron CF was very d...

Re: Nautolex - Original White w/Charcoal Stripes

I would be interested and I think a lot of other BigM owners would be too, especially if this product were offered at a similar price to other current Nautolex offerings. All of the other faux-teak vinyl flooring brands are too expensive! You may wish to post your question to the facebook page too i...

Excellent Oil Changer Cheap and Quick

I purchased this Atwood hand-pump oil changer for about $40 at a local farm supply store. It originally had a very thin vinyl hose that plugged into the larger clear hose shown in the picture. I ditched the little hose and used a piece of 1/4 inch copper tubing. SO MUCH EASIER to install in the dips...

Re: Blue Water Marine paints?

I believe Yooper, a member on this forum, has used Blue Water paints and was happy with them.

If they work well, they certainly represent a great cost savings...
