The Chrysler Marine pats manual lists separate part numbers for both the cams and the cranks. The distributors turn in opposite directions as well. Some of the Chrysler Marine vendors carry reprint parts catalogs. Get one and you can see all the CW and CCW part numbers. I have gone thru my parts man...

What a Great weekend. The weather was beautiful all weekend, although the threat of a storm loomed Sunday afternoon, it never materialized. Almost forgot that I started this post !! Thanks to Bill Cassedy for bringing the subject back up, so I will update what I accomplished. Rob, the fella in Dayton, did a beautiful job on the stainless steel rudders, craftsmanship was spectacular. Put them in with new packing glands & GFO packing....

As far as the sending unit goes, did you purchase one at the local auto parts store? Sending units for boats with upper & lower helms require a special dual station sending unit (for both temp & oil). A standard automobile/single station unit won't work, as it has half (or double, not sure) ...

I know this might sound wacky, but put the stat (or stats) in a plastic cup and fill it with vinegar (white or malt, doesn't matter) Let them sit for a couple days, then clean them with an old toothbrush. The vinegar has just enough acidity to clean the rust & crud off, but mild enough that it w...

Are you thinking one little, on-demand, tank-less water heaters? I was thinking about one of those, but most draw more amps than the average dock shoreline circuit (my dock service is 30 amp)
