Painted mine with Rustoleum Topside, used the "roll-tip" method. It is important to wait the 24 hours specified between coats. Have done the hull and the stripe, will finish the rest when it warms up a little. So far it has gone on easily and looks great.

A friend had an old houseboat back from the 60's with an Eaton Outdrive, white, Dana and OMC both date back to the 60's, white also. Parts, although few and far between, are still available. Sound familiar?
Oh I need plenty of couching, no my frame has seen its better days, thought I'd just bite the bullet and replace it all. Now on our pontoon boat we did use corrugated plastic sheeting, with H joiners, over the frame which has proven to be very durable as well as cost effective.

Anyone use a "Block Heater"? Have a bilge heater with a blower that comes on 40 degrees, seems to work fine but if it were to fail things may not be good. Was looking at magnetic block heaters along with a thermo cube, a small thermostat that comes on at 35 degrees. Hopefully if the main h...
