Re: V drive question

Not sure if this will add to the confusion or help. I was at the Marinette Rendezvous Talking with the fellow that owns one of the few 32's that came factory with big block Chryslers. The story goes that there were six built originally, with 1:1 Velvet drives and small props, the smaller 3 blades co...

Re: Stern railing design

The metal backing in mine were simply a strip of 1/8" x 1" of aluminum stock. Got a new chunk at the local welding hop for 20 bucks or so, cut and bent it to fit.

Re: engines seem locked up

Nice boat, love the aft cabin models. Talked with a fellow that owns a 41', told me the motors will come out the side windows if you remove glass and window tracks. Hopefully that won't be necessary. As stated by fellow M owners, try to free them up first. Good luck and welcome aboard.

Re: Ebay Angel!

Very interesting, looks really nice, but person donating her says both engines are bad. If you look at the engine photo's, these are raw water engines...the boat is docked in Punta Gorda, Fla. Not good. Heck of a deal but whoever buys her will need to move her to a lake or outfit the engines for clo...

Re: Engine Drain Plugs

I went through a similar situation during my first winterizing. In order to save some money, I decided that I would winterize the engines myself, and I'm glad I did. First thing I learned was that all the threaded drain plugs, both the lower two in the block and all the ones in the exhaust manifolds...
