Before I remove this, can anyone tell me what this item is? It’s the black round thing mounted to the circuit board. It is wired to the tachs and then has a 3 way plug that isn’t connected to anything.
Could it be for an engine synchronizer (or gauge) of yesterday?
Any reason to keep it?

John - I'm going to follow this thread. My paint is so shiny and slipery. I'm afraid of the swim platform. Where did you get the additive? The 2 types that I have came with the boat. I think that paint stores sell various types of additive. It may make sense to use the additive offered by the paint...

Non Skid grit paint
Has anyone used non-skid paint with grit in it with success? I have some Interlux non-skid additive and another that I believe is called "shark tooth" additive. These came with the boat. While the flybridge is off I plan to paint the floor (cab roof). I plan to lightly sand it and roll it ...
