Re: 1988 Marinette 32 Sedan For Sale

If I'm not mistaken, that end table is a factory Marinette option, like the faux bamboo chairs in some M's.

Wow, She's beautiful. I can't believe you couldn't get twice that for her. Is the market that bad for our beloved M's ?

Re: 62 40 ft ?

Interesting craft. Has some Marinette ques, and some not-so. Could very well be a special build. If you look at some of the design features of Sorry Dog's 60 ft. Aluminum Cruiser (some photo's I posted that Sorry Dog sent me in email) these features look very similar to his former boat. The boat on ...

Re: 1988 lm318 carburetor

Interesting post. As a former GM mechanic, and all around GM enthusiast, the Chrysler engines with Quadrajets always intrigued me. I rebuilt my Carter carbs last year, and they run fine, but the idea of switching carbs has been in the back of my mind. Are the 318 and 360 intakes the same? Anyone hav...

Re: dip stick for 318

Ok, these are the part numbers straight from the Chrysler Marine parts book. For the steel pans, dipstick is #2946470, for the cast aluminum pans, it's #E9258M. The truck dipstick is likely the 2946470, so I believe the Al pan is marine only. Check Hurrikain and so if it's still available.

Re: dip stick for 318

Chrysler Marine used two different oil pans too, a steel one and a cast AL one. Don't know if dipsticks are same or not, will check my Chry Marine parts book .

Re: hull repair

I'm guessing she was in dry dock! Another shop to look into would be big shops that do repairs in big trucks, semi's, fire truck and the like. The big truck shop, or like Busia says, an aircraft repair shop, may have to ability to go mobile and fix your boat on site after the estimate.
