I doubt any will be w...

Re: Air Conditioning
You might find that an AC unit that would fit in the hatch... Cruise N Carry comes to mind is too small to do the job in most our Ms
If you are in a covered slip a small unit would help.
Most our Ms require a min. of 14K=16K btu units.

Re: Forum and Facebook
I concur! I am several other Facebook sites and personally they do not work well for me. I like the detailed archived posts on the forums. Facebook has its place for general pic posting and chat. Good for finding friends but my focus is on Marinettes and all the knowledge and experience from the mem...

Yes there is a difference between Ethylene Glycol and Propylene Glycol . Ethylene Glycol is what is in almost all our autos and trucks. It can be Green, Blue or Yellow. (do not relay on color as to what type it is.) Propylene Glycol is less toxic and is considered more pet friendly. (It only takes a...

Re: Pertronix Distributor Test
Looks like we have two alternatives that work well. Will be interesting to see your corrosion results on the Mallory's.
If you can post the model number of the Distributor you are using.
The Pertronix is listed as a Chrysler Marine Billet I think?

Toxic antifreeze is a no no at most marinas. It is toxic to fish/wildlife, dogs, cats, people etc. I know a local marina several years back was real sloppy with it lots of it ended up on the ground. They were reported and the fines and cleanup costs were significant. In the old days we just drained ...
