Pitting was everywhere but no deeper than 3 mil or so only filled a couple of spots

Last years project wow was this fun
Stripped with pressure washer 4000psi and a month or so with a 5" orbital sander.
I also spot sand blasted corrosion and all the welds.
Chemical metal eched
4 coats of interlux 2000e (alternating colors)
2 coats Trulux 33 (will not use again)

$500 later a few hairs burnt lol and some quality time with the ole stick welder :D I still need to finish the keel rollers, electric over hydraulic brakes, front bunks and move the winch back about 30 inches but she fits real nice well worth the work to be able to pull my boat down the road. I would look into cutting out the old tanks and mounting multiple small tanks linked together so the only cutting done was to the old tanks. This would not be cheap but you would not cut your boat apart.
