Re: Fuel Tank Removal

Upon removal of the tanks I will indeed perform a full inspection of them in and out. They look very good from the five exterior sides I can see but it is the bottom and interior I have yet to inspect. When I removed my aluminum water tank I inspected it thinking I might need to install a new poly t...

Fuel Tank Removal

I searched the site but could not find any posts regarding the removal of the fuel tanks. I currently have the aft deck completely removed from my boat and I'm taking advantage of the access to tend to my Hynautic's steering, Blowers and Bennett Trim Tab system. It was also a perfect time to clean m...

Re: Sliding Window Poly Glide

I really like the idea of reversing the rails so that the screens are on the interior, I can see how that would work and it would not take me much to switch one pair as I only removed one pair to date. Thank you for sharing that option, I never saw that coming and what an awesome and simple upgrade!...

Re: Sliding Window Poly Glide

Once I get home and settled I will place the material on eBay for you, this will be the easiest way for me to market it, sell it and ship it. It is truly a nice material, the perfect replacement for the original Poly Glide. It was a little painful financially and a bit of a gamble to dish out the mo...

I removed all four lengths of the aluminum track, the horizontal top and bottom frames, and the shorter vertic...

Topside/Exterior Paint

Which paint is preferred to paint my topsides? I will be painting by hand. Any advice on paint brands/primers would be most appreciated.

Re: Sliding Window Poly Glide

Gentlemen, Thank you for the comments/input. I will continue to search for a suitable material and share it with you when I find it. Today I spoke with a very helpful technical advisor in a plastics company I found online, all he needs from me is accurate measurements to confirm they can fulfil my n...

Sliding Window Poly Glide

Hello Marinette Owners, I am new to this forum and the Marinette. I recently purchased a 1990 32' Marinette Sedan. Upon my first inspection/survey of this vessel it was clear that it was all original with everything intact but it was neglected. I set about a full restoration, gutting it bow to stern...
