Re: Do the Anodes have to be bolted to the hull or can they by glued?
Most are like these. I have not seen a Marinette with anodes on the hull other than the Keel.
I added small disks as an experiment to monitor protection...
I should probably add one to the rudder.
TRIM TAB
RUDDER & SHAFT
KEEL

I believe that they need to have good surface contact with the hull - or shaft or tabs or rudder...

Re: How do you make coffee at anchor?
We bought a single burner butane stove, it's very compact and extremely useful. Then we got ahold of an old stile coffee perculator. There's nothing like fresh perked coffee when you're on the hook I did this for years. I still have the butane burner which is nice to use outside so you don't heat u...

Re: sign and glide
When I got a quote from NBOA, who used progressive in Ohio, this tow coverage was $30/yr with $3000/yr coverage.
It look to me to be similar to Boat US's tow service.

Re: Trailer for sale
Is this trailer still for sale, and where is it.? I bought a 44 foot double I-Beam ( 10" ) to put my 32 Express on.. " OVERKILL..! " It's going to cost me $500 to have it cut down and resized, so I might as well sell it as is, and buy one that fits... Thanks Coastie, I hope you might...

Re: Marinette 39 Sedan sea trial
Thank you all for the help. I found my tachometers on my 454 crusaders were not very accurate at low rpm. I use an optical tach to set idle speed - put a piece of reflective tape on the harmonic balance and use a laser tach to count the rpms. When engines are set to 750 rpm, the marinette tach shows...

Re: Marinette 39 Sedan sea trial
The sea trial was completed on Saturday. In the end, everything went pretty well. The deal is pretty much done. Rusting water from the motors pumped out at first as these engines were not winterized due to the indoor heated storage. We were looking for that. Then the water flow out of the port engin...
