Re: Chrysler 318/360 oil pressure switches
Do you have a mechanical fuel pump or an electric one? I don't see it on the wiring diagram, so probably a mechanical one at least originally. I had some failures of my original (1970s) mechanical fuel pumps and replaced them with Carter electric pumps. I put a two spade oil switch in line with the ...

Re: Bent Rudder shafts?
Joel,
It was ten years ago, but I think it was about $400 for the pair.

Re: Bent Rudder shafts?
Mine were straight until I hit a submerged pier. Then only one was straight.

Re: Starboard wont go over 2000rpm under load.

This was a rough modification with a hacksaw. I'll get the Edelbrock version with proper smooth sides. $27. My son says smooth is good.

Re: 318 tuning problem uneven plug fouling
Hopefully I am making progress. I cruised yesterday for several hours. Started with all clean plugs. I advanced the port engine timing to a little beyond the normal range, both initial and mechanical advance. On the Starboard engine I took the carb spacer out and cut away the dividers between the fo...

Re: I Need a LH 16 x 16 bronze prop
I bought my spares on Ebay. Not exactly cheap, but there's always a lot of props on there. I'd take any used one to the prop shop for a once over.

Re: Fuel filler hose removal
Also, there is an access hole cut into the interior wall, I assume made by the previous owner. It's covered with a stainless plate. Four screws. Looks fine.

Have you tried a heat gun on the hose?

No. The trans is on a bell housing directly behind the engine.
