Jason (or Carl) I could use the same help, I searched for the solution but couldn't, find it. I jumped the ignition wire from the ballast, 12V at the coil but still doesn't work. Lost my sniffer too so I'm assuming that wasn't the solution. Put red distributor, and jumped ignition wire to Positive c...

Another dumb question sorry, does the pertronix just plug into existing electronic ignition system, e.g. Uses same module, still need the dreaded ballast resistor? The catalog showed igniter 1, 2, and 3 options. Any advice on which one to choose?
