Take a Breather
Probably a dumb question, but with new carbs on, now I have several hoses coming from valve cover breathers wondering where they go. Looks like 1 goes to flame arrestor, not sure from there. Can I just put on one of those breathers that does not require a hose?

Re: Prop Sizes?
Marinette page says 14 x 9. I have used 14x9, 14x10, 14x11, and 15x10. and did not notice any significant difference. Look on Ebay - there is always tons of them. 1" shaft.

US Coast Guard Documentation ?
The Marinette I purchased in the Fall came with a US Coast Guard Registration. I think I figured out how to renew that, but is this in addition to the registration I would pay for in the state of Michigan? Do I still put reg numbers on either side of the boat?

Heat Exchangers for Chrysler
Anyone have a line of a couple heat exchangers for Chryslers? Price for new is too salty, there has to be a bunch of salvage ones out there somewhere.

Re: Removing the factory cabin vinyl from old wood panels
I did it. The trick is to use a utility knife and cut strips, so you are only pullling 3-4 inch strips at a time. Sometimes it tries to pull the plywood off with it, but it can be done.

Re: My Second 28ft Marinette (twin engine 318) enclosed cabin
Looks like a nice looking vessel. I did the same this Fall. Owned a 28 single that everyone complained because it was too rocky in rough water and tough to control with a single screw. I, however, have not told any of the family and will try and keep my secret until boating season. Purchased a 1973 ...

Looks like you have something nice to start with. Interior looks pretty good, just some top-side paint. Nice Boat!
