I do know depending on what type of plastic material you use you could experience some buckling of your stainless hinges during winter layup not quite sure how to prevent it as of yet just somethng to be aware of

Was thinking about your ignition switches might be worth just havind a look at the wiring behind the dash i suspect a lot of the problems my dad was having with stalling were coming directly from there but then again who knows :roll: im pull...

www.Farmtek.com sells hdpe sheets in a variety of thicknesses we just used stainless screws to attach it to the aluminum braces it's rock solid and the stuff is durable they use it in horse stables and livestock pens

:roll: well the trim tab gremlin fell asleep or moved on to another system went out there today checked a few things did find that the lower helm control switch power lead came off :shock: so that explains why that wasn't working guess that's what I get for using an old fork style terminal clip :oop...

Oh i agree hands down they even have some wonderful troubleshooting videos on YouTube. Spent some time searching around might be the port actuator solenoid either sticking or not working at all but i know where to start looking now just irritating that they seem to foul up every couple years :|

trim tabs

Anyone here have trouble with their tab actuators jamming in the down position and if so what causes it and how do you fix and or prevent it from happening?
Also the tab system is boat leveler if that helps
