LCR, did you purchase all the Mercruiser stuff new or did you buy a donor boat for it?
I would be very interested, as I'm sure many others are as well, in seeing all that you have done with your 32.

Re: A little crazy?
I also did end up moving the helm bulkhead forward 18 inches, shortening up my cabin. All so I could install another 130 gallon fuel tank. Bringing my total capacity to 280 gallons.

Re: A little crazy?
I was able to come across the Mercury Enertia Eco 16x19 props for my Bravo 1 outdrives that I had been wanting to try. They performed as I had hoped for my speed and efficiency, but I'm still struggling with cavitation while trimming out. I will figure that out when I get a newer set of outdrives, a...

Re: A little crazy?
At 3k rpm while fully loaded and at 29-30 mph it burns around 24-25ish gallons an hour for 1.15 to 1.2 mpg. When I am light, it bumps up to 1.3. If I drop it the rpm to 2800 while light, I get 1.4 mpg at 27-28 mph. According to my Garmin flow meters. I have a few pics showing my running numbers that...

Try to contact Lakeland Auto and Marine in Port Clinton Ohio. From the videos I have seen on YouTube, he has rebuilt a fair amount of Chrysler engines and should have a source. He does great work from what I have watched!

Re: One wire alternator
All Mercruiser alternators are the same, whether used on a cw or ccw rotation engine . I'm guessing its the same for whatever engine brand you have. I would bet that there is a wiring problem or just a bad alternator, new or not. I installed a pair of one wire Arco brand alternators on a set of 318 ...

You can try to look through old posts if anyone had a diagram. I would like to help, but I haven't come across any in my travels.

Re: Thermostat housing
It is located at the top front of the engine right in front of the carb. Pull the hoses off, and remove the bolts. You may need to tap it with a hammer or such to get it to pop free. There should be a gasket there also.
