Re: picture of hull annodes.

Great picture and description. Thanks a lot. It will be interesting to see what is on the bottom of the boat in question after being in the water at a marina with no use. When the man bought the boat in 2013 there was a survey and the bottom was painted. He passed away Dec. 2015 and, as I understand...

Surveyor tasks while boat in the sling

Boat will be in the sling, with clean bottom Tue. Morning to start the day of surveys and sea trial. Question—what should I expect to observe from my boat surveyor while in the sling.. I know on fiberglass, extensive bottom tapping, but with aluminum boat ???. Surveyor doesn’t do ultra sound, but wi...

Re: picture of hull annodes.

Are they clear down towards the bottom of the keel? How far aft from the bow at the water line intersection as a reference point? Assume, if they haven't all ready eroded away I will recognize them at that length. Are there studs in the hull that they attached to, or recessed threaded holes??

picture of hull annodes.

Going to survey/sea trial 37 sedan next week. Been sitting in a marina for a year and a half since the owner passed away. It would be of help to me if I could see some pictures on what and where the hull annodes were on the 1982 37 sedan. Are they in similar location on the 32s, maybe just shorter. ...

Re: electronics upgrade

Need to be able to find fish while running around in the Gulf. We head for a marked spot and than need to see if any fish on it today and on the way to the mark also like to keep an eye out for fish. Guess I will have to cut a hole or two. Darn. Thanks.

Pumping out your holding tank

For private dock use would like to be able to pump out the holding tank into a portable RV type pump out tank and than haul it up to my septic tank.

Re: electronics upgrade

With a transom mount on inboards doesn't the prop wash cause problems with all that turbulence. ?? Do you mount it in center between the output from the two props. ??

Are there transducers today that will work thru the aluminum hull, or will I have to drill a hole and mount it. Any suggestions, would like at least 9 inch display and at both stations. Than...

Twin Disc EC100 control and transmission. ???

The EC100, as I understand it, is a one lever control which will engage tx., and than advance throttle. Is this done thru cables? On the 1982 37 sedan I am trying to buy, the picture of the control station shows "Twin Disc" on the control unit which suggests to me it is a twin disc transmi...
