Re: Carb Problem

Not certain about pressure drop (never measured fuel pressure) but a clogged filter is definitely one cause of the stalling issue you describe. With those filters clogged, it's hard to get the engine running above about 1500 rpm

Re: Carb Problem

You probably did this but it doesn't hurt to double check: did filter change include the little one at the mouth of the carb (if the Edelbrock has one there)?

Re: Bow Rail Restoration

Jeff's suggestion is the one that makes best practice. Using thicker rubber or (better) Starboard as Carl did are OK, but the former is less complicated and certainly separates metal from metal. But you can save the labor because of your backgro...

Relatively easy way to make a quick test if you can remove the case and see the speaker connection: Just clip a cheap spkr to the existing leads and see if there's audio. If not, it's a circuit issue and a quick call to the mfr can tell you whether repair is feasible. Also, if the unit has a connect...

Re: 360 Chrysler running like crap cont...

My standard advice when one encounters symptoms you reported: Check the filter (usually cg-11) at the point where the fuel line enters the carb. It historically causes what you ran into
