"less weight will be a big plus." There might be some concern about adding that weight back on with a flybridge hardtop. Raising the center of gravity gives less stability. Stability is a big deal if you're out in waves, especially if you stop the engines and go sideways to the waves. The ...

Re: It’s gone..

That's a lot of power. You must have a couple of A/C units on the boat?

The first thing I did when starting this project in my V-berth was to remove the white bedding.

Re: Question to owners about your 32' FB Sedan

I cruise at 10 mph on the Erie and consistently get 1.3 mpg. This includes occasional idle time around locks. Running both engines. Made some intake modifications that should improve mileage but haven't done any measurements yet. I'd personally never clamp a prop shaft. If I want that sucker to go, ...

My Sherwoods (double pocket) are marked in and out in the body casting.

Re: Possibly The Most Overlooked Preventive Maintenance!!!

I had a brittle through hull snap off once. I had never checked them. My Tee shirt was the immediate response, then one end of my favorite French rolling pin. This was an at-the-waterline fitting, below water while underway.

I hate seeing that white crud in my valve covers.
