That's great! Question... what fuse holder? My ignition goes through an Airpax breaker no fuse... Am I missing something?

Re: Flybridge weight limit
My 29 has a capacity tag for bridge. Three Persons in Good weather. Now USCG uses a weight of 150 lbs per person.
So you can figure from there.
Most men weight more than 150 lbs!

Re: Fuel filter-'78 318
The OEM Perkos are still a great water separating and particle filter. No reason to change to spin on type filters. The filter stones in the Perkos are still available and last a LONG TIME. I replaced mine but they still were probably just fine.

Re: FastJeff Page How To posts
Since there may be a possible virus issue with Jeff's old site I am dumping any posts related to it just in case.
Rather safe than Sorry! I left the How To post on the site. I deleted my own reference (Link to the Tripod site)
Nothing personal just a small dose of caution!

Re: Anodes
Your numbers will settle down some to around .90.
Best advantage is keeps numbers in line and since Mag is lower on Noble Scale your aluminum keel/rudder anodes will have little loss.

Re: Battery ground to hull?
Your engine is bolted to stringers thus to hull
Your isolation is to protect disimular metals
Shafts props rudders etc

Re: Alternators
I just removed the old regulators and used rubber tape and electrical tape and sealed the wires. I increased the gauge wire from the alternator to the battery and installed a 60 AMP (I think?) blade fuse in each line. The best part is my battery banks are in center between engines so very short run ...

Re: Alternators
I hated the OEM alternators with regulator on my M. I changed them out to One wire 60 amp 10 years ago. NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER! It only takes 1,000 RPMs to excite them. I use 2 six volt golf cart batteries for my house bank. The alternator does an excellent job of keeping the bank up. For what it is...
