When I installed the test Pertronix units in 2012 we used the collar that was used on the OEM Prestolite on STB engine. No issues.

I had heard there was an early issue with the collar supplied with new units from Pertronix but it was corrected. Must have got one that was early.

I have been field testing a Pertronix Dist. with their ignition. I am now on season 7 and am not looking back.

I have ran a Xantrex 1800 watt inverter for years on my boat. I run 2 deep cycle 6 volt golf cart batteries in series. Inverter works fine for light loads. Using heavy amp like microwave etc. and it will draw your house bank down in very short order. 1500 watts will draw 125 amps DC. So lets say you...

Ideal range:
.95-1.05

numbers will vary depending on water clarity and wether fresh or salt water.
