Rollers are not recommended for aluminum boats. The rollers do not spread the weight out properly and can bend the hull of the Big M
Our M's should rest comfortably on bunked trailer.

Re: Anti-fouling TriLux 33
I agree with joel. Sounds like a prep. issue. I pull mine for bottom every 4th season. The paint is worn but very little peels off from power washing. multiple coats of interprotect provides the proper foundation for 33

Re: Worth Buying? 76' 37 foot sedan
You mention the owner was a volunteer USCG Aux. This boat would not pass their own Aux. CME ! A complete survey would be a must and very concerned about hull in salt water. Comment "Minor Pitting" Yes? No? Proceed with caution. I see at least 20K would go into a basic restoration. I would ...

Re: Bottom paint recommendation
Painting an aluminum hull is NOT straight forward. You must follow specific preparation and special primers. If unfamiliar with the process Interlux has detailed application guides on line. Your cost could go as high as 3000k for a proper application. Welcome to boating in a Big M. Improper methods ...

Re: Sliding Glass Windows Lessons Learned
Thanks for the update. My Starboard Salon fwd pane cracked this summer. So I need to at least remove it and replace. Do you know what the cost was for a single pane for the starboard forward glass was? I like the look but might have to replace with lexan if too costly.

Re: Old gas
Leaving a fuel tank 80 percent empty is inviting condensation and accumulation of water in your fuel.
If stored on the hard even worse. Most marinas require full tanks to reduce chance of explosion.

Re: Suggestions for Marina / storage / bottom paint job in Kentucky Lake area
Best marine yard: Sunset Marina and Campground. couple of miles South of Kenlake State Park. (I have my bottom work done there they really know aluminum boats and do it right! Has full service yard and Dennis is great to work with. Nice Marina in water slips and Trans. mooring with restaurant. Kenla...
