I have the Cruiseair/Marinaire AC/Heat stowaway set up. It does a great job in the hot humid summer here in the south. Anything less will be a waste of money. We stay overnight about 40 days a year on our boat so AC is a top priority. It looks like it would have a large price tag :shock: $1700 plus ...

I wish I had used a premium caulk around the edge of all my anodes. I think that would keep the mating surface clean for better protection. I haven't read of anyone else doing this. I will do it on my next anode change.

My AC unit does the same if you get an air leak in the system. 99.9 % of the time it's the filter bowl cap that gets the air leak. Tighten down nuts good to go.

All marinas on our lake have free pump out stations. Think they are funded by State and Federal cash....not sure.
