Re: Fuel System Restoration: Tanks to Carbs...
John, Don't walk the plank yet. Lots of " been there done that" advice here. Tell us what is happening. Biggest problem I've had has to do with 46 year old tank. I have re plumed from tank to carb and continue to clean tank out every now and then. Tell us what is going on. Do you still hav...

Re: CHART PLOTTER ON THE CHEAP
Update.
I got a k10 Dragontouch tablet with Navionics mapping software and works great, especially at night in low light conditions. The only problem I have is the map doesn't move as I move. I think it is a setting I haven't discovered yet. A lot of chartplotter for $120.

Re: Engine Warms up and wont stay running
I believe Some electronic ignition systems require internal resistance coil and some do not . might check that.
Good luck.

Just want to find the channel after dark. I see all this info on utube about using a i pad and free software that I...
Re: coil
Thanks Jeff I did & runs fine, just wondering
coil
Last weekend running down the river at 2500 rpm and starboard motor started loosing rpm and sputtering. To make a long story short found that coil was jumping fire from negative to positive terminal. Now that is scary to have a spark jumping that 2.5 inches in the bilge. Not jumping from coil tower ...

Thank you Jason, I will check it out next time I'm at Harrison Bay . Dockside Cafe is one of my favorite places to take the boat.

bilge pump switch
My M was saved by Carl today. He walked by my boat and saw it listing. I must had hit the off switch on the bilge switch last week. My shafts leak a little and I haven't been there since last week. Why do they have a off switch? Doesn't make since to me. I'm going to rewire that and put in a high wa...

Re: dome lights not working Where is ground buss located?
current + moisture + air = corrosion. If we use dielectric grease it takes one of the three out of the equation. Common problem on our cars too. I use vaseline on my battery terminals to prevent the " Green Monster" My 2 cents.
