You should only need 3 conductors if you use 240 volt. If you would email me a copy of connection diagram I can help you. Former Coal mine chief elect.

My first step would be to get a mechanical oil pressure gauge & make sure you have oil pressure on both.

Don't Know. We didn't see the boat, he contacted Tall Timbers Marina asking about diesel fuel. We just know it was a 39 Marinette with diesels, headed North.

a couple days ago (8/2) a Big M with Diesels was North bound on Illinois River, & talked to my home port of Tall Timbers, I'm guessing it's the one with the Cat diesels, but can't remember who owned that boat. Is someone taking a trip or has that boat been sold? Maybe an all together different b...

Look up steering on UTUBE, If I remember correctly, there is a number on rudder end; if Teleflex the last 2 digits are length in feet, If Morse last 3 digits in inches.

I would think that your shaft is bent. At 2000 RPM it's just too fast of movement to see, Put your finger on it, you will feel it is still moving.

On my 37 double cabin with Volvo Diesels its on Starboard side, outboard of starboard engine, mounted on wine cellar wall.
