Re: Engine oil, transmission fluid and filter types for Chrysler 360
Have used Rotella in everything for years, with the Lucas additive. Run Rotella Synthetic in my outboards with the synthetic additive too. Would be interested to hear what everyone is running in there transmissions, me standard ATF.

Re: Aft Deck... Diamond plate aluminum?
25 years, how bout 43, still in good shape, know the 18-20 years prior to my ownership she sat in a covered slip. What's hurting are the sides, seems to be some kind of fiberboard, was going to use 1/4" StarBoard on them. I'm with you on replacing before there totally shot.

Re: New owner engine stall issues

Re: New owner engine stall issues
Had a low idle stalling issue on my port engine that was unbelievably frustrating, tried everything, finally bit the bullet and installed DUI Distributors. These engines now idle as if they were fuel injected, conferred with Trowerpower who has the same setup, this forum is a wealth of information. ...

Re: Chartplotter
Take a look at the Garmin 276cx, this is the re released version, strongly considering this one myself. Have an old 376c that always worked great, used it on the boat, truck and motorcycle. Look it over and let me know what you think.

Re: New owner engine stall issues
I'll second Fast Jeff's post, I too have learned through experience there is no substitute for dedicated chargers. Have used Newmar Chargers for years.
