Re: For Sale/Trade 1973 32' Marinette FB Express

Great! Thanks Bill and Doug. I agree with the classic good looks of the M's and their durable aluminum hull. I'd like to downsize because it is becoming much more maintenance than I have time/budget for. Hind site is 20/20, I should have kept my 26' single M!

Re: For Sale/Trade 1973 32' Marinette FB Express

Thanks Charlie. I'm willing to deal on the price or trade. If I do sell this boat, you can bet Marinettes will sky rocket in value. Everything I sell this happens. I sold my Harley years ago and almost the next day Harley prices went through the roof! :o

Re: 1984 360 RAW Water Pump

If you need a pump rebuilt or repaired, I highly recommend www.depcopump.com out of Clearwater, Fla. I shipped my 2 Sherwood pumps and 1 was repairable the other they had in stock, easy to work with and fair prices.

Re: Ceiling & paneling

Same v berth project here also. The v berth ceiling is out and I have the originals as rough templates. I found flimsy thin 4 x 8 white plastic/PVC sheets that have a texture on 1 side at HD. I might go with that. The cockpit sides on mine are aluminum sheets on the sides and across the back. Nice f...

Re: Under Hardtop trim

Hey Ed I'll have to check for that extra wire. I have to find a replacement blade for the drivers side. Haven't searched that hard though.
Thanks EWRice I need to replace the ceiling it's getting rot around the edges. I like the idea of a varnished wood and adding an access door for the electronics.

Re: Marinette Font

I don't know what font they used or if it was a custom hand drawn logo back in the day. I uploaded your attachment to a few web sites that try to match the fonts by image. Search "find font" and there are a few sites like "What the Font" etc. but the image is kind of fuzzy so it ...

Re: Ohio River Lock & Dam woes

The Olmsted Lock and Dam project is a huge engineering feat. 1 of a kind custom crane too. Lots of $$$$. I remember the Markland dam lost it door a few years ago.
