I would say your best bet is to look on Craigslist or FB marketplace. Used ones are hard to come by, and new ones cost more than most of our boats are worth. Good luck in your search!

The original Aluminum Cruisers business that made the Marinette's went out of business in the early 90's. Is he using a feeler gauge to get the engines in alignment. Ideally it will be .003" or less out of true. That is as close as i got on my old 28 ft. when I installed new shafts, i could have got it a little better, but the run out on the transmission coupler was .003".
