Marinette Raft up on Lake Lanier

Is anyone on Lake Lanier interested in getting together for an afternoon? There are at least 15 Marinettes on the south end of the lake. Would be a good afternoon. We could congregate near marker D in the three sisters islands.

If interested let me know.

I assume the water level came back up?

Last time I rapped with a Lanier-er, it was way down.

Yeah Bill, he is very sharp. Wish he lived closer.

Give him a volt meter, vacuum gauge and set of hand tools and he is like MacGyver around engines. Especially around Marinettes. I ask him questions all the time.

Glad he could help. Thanks for keeping him busy.

Jeff-

Last I checked, lake level was around 1,070 feet. That is within a few few of summer full pool. Plenty of water to slow down the prop repair business.

Mine is still on the hard for restoration (Tucker Engineered Lumber Yard and Reggae Bar) but I would love to join someone if I could to see what you "Marinetters" do for fun!

Eric I'm restoring my 73 28 FB Express on the hard now(in Tucker) and would LOVE to get to know your Dad. When I picked up my vessel, it was leaking gas and scared the beejeezus out of me! I had the hatches open, fans on and praying like Hell that I wouldn't blow aprat before I got to the ramp and trailer for the ride home. I think the previous owner put on a new carb and boogered it up. I have plenty of cooling water in the work yard and wonder if I could sort out any issues prior to launch date (Spring, 2015). Would be most happy to chat with your Dad. Kind regards, Rivetman(Eric in Decatur).

I am on Lanier off of big creek. Let's get a raft up planned for this season.
