I think this boat is listed on POP Yachts also. There are a lot of pictures on their sight and boattrader. I've heard that it is hard to get out of their listing agreements. Rebuilt 440's could be a plus, but might need a lot of other work.

Ah but what does "rebuilt" mean? The person listing the boat may have a vastly different definition than the rest of us.

That said, I always liked the looks of the 37 sedan and with 440s she should move.

I have a 1981, 37' with professionally rebuilt 440's and it DOES move... She's perched on dry dock just outside of NYC. Was strongly considering downsizing... Let me know if anyone is interested. I'll post more pics soon

What is her top speed Mike? I have a 37' looking to repower. My goal is to break 40mph.

Forget it! Marinettes were never designed to run at those speeds. I've heard of 32 footers hitting 40 mph with hot rod motors, but the owner said is was very unstable at that speed.
