Mobake,
No way in heck, unless your transport company is dragging your new Marinette with bridge attached on the ground to its new location and that would be with it laying on its side.

Haha! Well, we had two companies tell us they could do it. It was about $700 more than doing it with the flybridge off, but we figured it was worth that to not have to take time off work, drive six hours there and back, get a hotel, and then still have to pay the marina to lift and place the bridge. We paid for a pre route survey, so he will be going a bit out of the way to get it here, but still worth it.

Where are you transporting it from and to?

Mine was 14'8" if the from highest point if the front splash window was removed. My transporter said that it could be done but the routing and extra escort cost would be excessive.
It could be a little lower by taking the props & rudders off, but still not to under 14' that he wanted.

That being said, Wally on this sight had his transported (in Missouri I think) with the flybridge on.

We are going from Racine, WI to Louisville, Ky. We measured ours at 14' 1" with the windscreen, and removed that, along with the captains chair, throttles and steering wheel. He's taking an alternate route down hwy 57, rather than 65.

That sounds good. I originally wished that I could talk my transporter into something like this.
However, now I'm glad that I removed the flybridge as I learned a lot about the wiring and pulled 32 years of accumulated unused wires out of the way.

Good for you.

It was our original plan, but when presented with the opportunity to avoid it, we just jumped on it. Congrats on yours too! Is it in the water yet?

Flybridge attached - only a 32 though, It can be done with the right trailer, transporter had the rudders about 4" off the ground. Worked great

My uncle's 32 came from the factory with the flybridge on a special lowboy trailer. They scraped one of the struts along the way so Marinette sent him a new strut. It ended up working out because he had a spare strut to replace the one he bent running aground near Cape May.

My wanderlust and need for a project may overwhelm me into getting a 32 or 37 one of these days.

Yes. At dock where I plan to paint the rooftop (flybridge floor) and then hope to move the flybridge into place this weekend...

Freeman,
My son has a 1978, 37' FB, sedan, twin 360's, hydraulic steering, full canvas, he is considering selling as he has no time to use it.
Located on Centerhill Lake, Cookeville Tennessee. If you have any interest I'll put him in touch with you.
