The club where I dock has a pumpout tank on wheels pulled behind a lawnmower. I believe the pump is a diaphragm type and it runs on a small electric motor. The hose is corrugated and it has a black plastic quick connect fitting on the end. The pumpout flange on your boat should be threaded for the mating half od the quick connect. Probably 2 in DIA. These fittings are common at marine supply places. After pumping out the holding tank on the boat we let it draw on lake water to clear the line to the tank. The tank is obliged to be washed down inside after every use, so things stay nice and fresh.

Some of these cottage boaters do not even start their engines all season.

All marinas on our lake have free pump out stations. Think they are funded by State and Federal cash....not sure.
