What year and model is this boat?

Hi everyone!
I'm trying to do a little research on this boat. It's been on the hard for about 10 years.
Can anyone help me determine the year and/or model of this boat? I'm pretty sure it's prior to 1971. It has no HIN on hull.

Photos can be seen on Photobucket

Thanks in advance

That kills my guess--a later model 28' fisherman. There was a 26' express on the river a few years ago so it's possible one or more went out the door with a flybridge. I believe they were made in the 1960s. You know the hull number was stamped on the upper starboard corner of the transom--right? There should also be a s/n plaque on the inside of the hanging locker door.

Good luck.

I didn't see anything on the transom starboard corner. Might have got ground off. I'll do a little paint scraping and see if I can find any sign of a number. I didn't think they put any number on the transom until after 1971. The Flybridge might be aftermarket.

I was going to say it looks like a Fisherman or and older Express model.. I have a 1968, Express 32, w/o fly bridge.. They are still pretty common around Port Clinton Ohio area..

It's probably a longshot, but you might get a clue from the motor nameplate. My previous Marinette was a '68 and had the original engines in it.

Engine plate says

M 440BWR1 0/4 93

E 17880

11/17

I added some photos to photobucket of the engine plate

It is a Fisherman. One way to tell a Fisherman is it only has a steering station on the bridge. The build plate could be in the companion way, on the left wall when entering the cabin, or possibly under the counter or inside the head attached to the wall. Load your photos a few at time in this thread .... Photobucket sux

I'd say that is a 60's model and looks decent structurally but needs cleaning .... All that said it would have to be cheap.

The boat has been sitting for quite some time. The engine has been submerged in rain water and is now junk. They intend to repower the boat. The owners grandfather bought the boat when new and he learned boating on this boat. He had been away from it for years and when he found it again this is what it looked like.

The boat needs a lot of work but the owner also owns the marina so I guess it shouldn't be a problem.
