Thinking about summer

Post by EWRice »

As I sit here eating lunch, looking a the fresh 6" of snow that fell over the weekend, I am browsing through pictures in my phone. I came across a series of pictures from September 23 2017. Hot all weekend and dead calm. First time I have ever been able to spend the night anchored less than 100 yards off shore in lake Michigan. It was a perfect weekend (until we got back to the marina and found a tree has fallen on my truck). The water temp was in the mid seventies, air temp hit nineties. Best boating weekend all season. The picture is our BigM and my good friends CC Comander waiting on the sunset.

... where'd I put our time machine??!?!??!!?

.. oh yeah, she's on the hard, 'waiting for some TLC to get her ready. Then into the water and time will (hopefully) stand still as she pulls all the day's cares away...
