Re: Private messaging here on this Forum
How do you put a picture on your home page or just post a picture?

Re: Private messaging here on this Forum
Carl: I just checked my PM folder and found messages there (including an exchange between you and me two yrs ago). When I look at the "private message" link in the upper right hand corner, a number (1) is displayed which would seem to indicate I have an unread message, which I do not or that I only have one message and I actually have saved and read four.
I do recall telling the admin a couple of yrs ago that PM's weren't behaving correctly but I do not recall the specifics. I didn't get a reply nor did I follow up. I suspect there may be a bug in the forum or perhaps it's a setting the admin needs to change. Sometimes, these things get pretty obscure. I'll send you a message titled PM test and you can report what you find. Best wishes
HOOHAH: This is a topic for a new thread. But here is a summary of how I've posted a pic. First, make sure the pic's resolution is relatively low -- perhaps 50kb or less. What I've done is to post the message and submit it, then open it for editing (the little pencil icon before the "x" at the top right of all messages) and I find an option to attach a file below the message. I click on it and then navigate to the file(s) and open it/them. Then "submit" again. I know I have just broad-brushed this reply but hope it's helpful.

Update for Carl: Sent you two PMs (PM Test and PM Test 2) and neither has shown in my Sent Messages folder.

Re: Private messaging here on this Forum
Lets see if we can get this figured out once and for all. I thought it was fixed. Since I am admin I may not be seeing the real problem.
Until the person you send the PM to reads the message, the PM sits in your outbox. This is a confusing feature of the system.
