Discovery Channel Alaskan Bush People show

Post by Busia »

Anybody see the show that was supposed to be about the Browns living in Alaska? We saw them filming at our dock last summer so had watch. The show is totally made up poorly written B.S. I could only stand it for awhile it was so bad. Did recognize the dentist and some of the sights. Some of it was filmed here in Ketchikan and some in Seward, about 1000 miles from here. So watch it, see some of what Alaska is like but just wanted to warn you that it is all made up, and full of errors.---Ed

Pretty much all reality shows are staged. Gold Rush is another.

State of Alaska gives tax credits to these shows and lots of people are mad about it. They are all bad, but sometimes I watch them to see the scenery and get a laugh.Number of them got busted for doing illegal things. (Gold Rush mining show, Gun show from Anchorage, this Alaska bush people show ) Joke is the trooper show would cover the trials of the other shows.
Stay tuned, My boat may still be on the show.--Ed

Note that most boats used up there are aluminum?

Still lots of plastic boats up here, but quite a few aluminum ones. Not many older plastic boats that are still running, lots of them for sale.--Ed
