That explanation makes sense. After owning a 28' marinette for 5 years, it gave us a chance to see what we really use a boat for. We love the sun. So a boat with a 2 foot deck that seats 4 people to enjoy the sun we see for 3 months in southwest Michigan did not really work. A typical cruise for us is with 10-15 people (yes we have had that many) enjoying a cool bev, cruising up and down the shores of Lake Michigan. The layout of this boat will provide lots of room for people to enjoy some rays. Other than ocassional perch fishing, we do not do a lot of fishing, but perhaps some day. Just love how the boat brings the older kids back home to go out for a cruise with Mom and Dad. You have a one of a kind, and it is very cool. Not sure what it sold for, but at the time I think it was about $18,000, a bit salty for my budget. Share some pics once you get it on the water!
